Below is a collection of experiments with forms, materials and styles that are not part of larger bodies of work, they are purely for looking into an idea. Some of these may be available works, but many are play items to explore an idea for a larger body of work.

Facets

This series of works entitled Facets explore the amazing connection of materials and Geometric forms. The mix of natural materials that are normally seen in curved and wild forms is in juxtaposition to the 'perfection' of the carved angular facets within the works. With different editions made from the joining of the wood and stone, there is further juxtapositions within these works such as coldness and warmth, softness and hardness and dark and light, they act as provokers for thought about these differences as well as interesting material explorations in the connection of materials that are not normally seen within the same piece.
