This project was created as the physical embodiment of the idea of Biophilic Furniture that was put forward within my thesis written on the topic, it therefore seeks to connect the users of the desk, as well as casual onlooker of the product, to nature. It was made to show what a sub-conscious connection to nature could look like within furniture, and act as a stepping stone towards more product and furniture designs mimicking the themes and patterns often seen within nature.
