This project was designed and made in response to the idea that often desk speakers are aesthetically unappealing and often do not have particularly good sound. The idea was to use the tonal properties and designs of classical instruments and apply them to the design of a pair of speakers. They are made in solid maple, much like pianos and follow the principles of allowing the wood and the shape to amplify the sound and improve the raw audio from the speaker.
